WHO ARE WE?

Most of the more than 450 SEC members have retired from active professional life and come from industry, higher education, research institutes, schools, politics, consultancy, associations, analytical science and the media. SEC is open to everyone! Age is irrelevant.

• connects by refreshing networks at home and abroad and organising symposia.
• is active and organises Conferences, discussion forums, tours, monthly Online lectures and develops position statements.

• supports GDCh committees, such as the Board, public relations, editorial teams and working groups, on current topics.
• promotes cooperation with nurseries and schools and supports teachers with practical experimental lessons.

• is inspiring through inspiring websites, newsletters, brochures, social media posts, informal conversations and discussions.
• provides advice to companies, start-ups and mentees, drawing on many years of professional experience, curiosity and expert knowledge.
