The objectives set out in the statutes of the German Chemical Society include promoting professional exchange, understanding of chemical interrelationships, and scientific publishing and information services. The GDCh fulfils these objectives by publishing scientific journals and magazines, as well as other publication formats – independently or jointly with other organisations or publishing partners.
