The purposes of the German Chemical Society, as set out in its statutes, include promoting professional exchange, understanding of chemical interrelationships, and scientific publishing and information services. The GDCh fulfils these aims by publishing scientific journals, magazines and other publication formats – either independently or jointly with other organisations or publishing partners.
