SEC Lecturer
Dr Ursula Hoeppener-Kramar was nominated as SEC lecturer 2026 for her lecture “From the Big Bang to radiation protection”. She managed to present the whole of nuclear chemistry in 45 minutes. We were able to follow her clearly on a journey through the universe back to Earth during her online lecture on 19 Sep 25. The exceptionally large number of questions showed how interested the participants were in the topic and in the quality of her slides. Fear of radioactive radiation can indeed only be allayed through clear and complete information.
The lecture is therefore particularly suitable for promotion at teacher training centres, local societies and the JungesChemieForum, and we have added it to our website under “Teaching resources”.
