Education & Society, Industry & Technology, Science & Research – the names of our sections show that: “Nachrichten aus der Chemie” (our member magazine) report on everything that concerns the chemical community, whether current developments in science or industry, announcements from the GDCh or staff news. “Nachrichten aus der Chemie” are not a primary scientific journal; nevertheless, our monthly trend reports on individual fields of chemistry enjoy the highest esteem. In the trend reports, renowned authors summarise the most important developments in their specialist field.

All GDCh members receive “Nachrichten aus der Chemie” in principle both as a print edition and digitally. Some articles are also freely available online to non-GDCh members.
