Events
The series of events comprising the Late Summer Workshops, which take place at irregular intervals, is a forum for early-career scientists. In a relaxed atmosphere, young scientists from Germany and abroad meet internationally renowned water experts and present their research. The format of the events is modelled on the Gordon Research Conferences. In addition to the academic programme (including plenary lectures and a large poster exhibition), the workshops provide opportunities for shared leisure activities such as walks or hikes, interactive games or simply chatting.

WASSER is the central Conference for the water sector in Germany and the annual Conference of the Society of Water Chemistry. Professionals and experts from all areas of water chemistry, water treatment and other disciplines meet every year in May at changing locations for an intensive exchange of experience and ideas. A key focus of the Conference is on personal encounters and scientific discussions about current professional challenges.
