The series of Late Summer Workshops, held at irregular intervals, provides a forum for early-career researchers. In a relaxed atmosphere, young scientists from Germany and abroad meet internationally renowned water experts and present their research. The workshops are modelled on Gordon Research Conferences. Alongside the scientific programme (including plenary lectures and a large poster exhibition), the workshops offer opportunities for shared leisure activities such as walks or hikes, interactive games or simply chatting.
WASSER is the main Conference for the water sector in Germany and the annual Conference of the Society of Water Chemistry. Professionals and experts from all areas of water chemistry, water treatment and other disciplines meet every year in May at different locations for an intensive exchange of experiences and ideas. One of the Conference’s main focuses is on personal encounters and scientific discussions about current challenges in the field.
