Working group 2 – Online talks #

Status quo

Online lectures since 2022: take place monthly, following an invitation and announcement on the internet, in the GDCh app and on LinkedIn (plus Instagram). Since 2024, the event, originally for members of the Division only, has been open to everyone. Since 2026, it has started with a 5-minute start-up presentation, followed by an online discussion with the SEC team after the main lecture.

Objectives

• Planning online lectures for the following years. To be completed by around autumn of the current year; approval at the following board meeting
• Preparing a proposal for the SEC lecturer for the following year; deadline as above.
• Maintaining the list of speakers on the internet on an ongoing basis
• Continuously bringing in new members.
