What we eat every day concerns us all. Nobody wants spoiled or counterfeit food. Fortunately, there are inspection authorities that check what is placed on the market. During our 12th SEC Technology Tour to Oldenburg, we had the rare opportunity to visit one of these authorities!
The Oldenburg Food and Veterinary Institute (LVI) opened its doors especially for us on 28 September 2022. Following an introductory lecture, in which food counterfeiting played a particularly important role, we learned about various examination methods in groups of 10.
