Data collection statistics 2026
On this page, we provide the forms for the annual survey for our statistics on chemistry degree courses to the academic advisers and contact persons. The copyright for these forms is held by the GDCh.
THIS ALSO APPLIES TO 2026/27: For the sake of the environment, next year we will provide universities and higher education institutions with the GDCh statistics as a PDF file. Contact persons on our records will receive it by email. If you would still like a printed copy, you can order one using the Online form or by email at karriere@gdch.de. Your response will then be taken into account for printing, and you will receive a copy by post.

It is up to you whether you record the doctoral degrees of chemistry and biochemistry graduates together or in separate questionnaires. Please tick the relevant boxes at the beginning of the questionnaire.
At universities that report doctoral degrees in chemistry and biochemistry together, these are counted among the doctoral degrees in chemistry and a corresponding footnote is included.
Please complete a separate questionnaire for each university course OR indicate that the completed questionnaire contains data for both university courses. You can see which university courses we have recorded for your higher education institution in the summary tables in the statistics.
You can see which university courses we have already recorded in the summary tables in the statistics. If your university course is not yet included, please briefly inform us about the new university course and complete the relevant form for it. Even if the university course does not yet have any graduates, we will be pleased to add it to the list.
Without the support of the many helpers in the deans’ offices and departments, we would not be able to compile the detailed statistics that other disciplines envy us for. We are therefore indebted to everyone involved.
