The Solid-State Chemistry & Materials Research Division organises a conference every two years. Since 2018, these conferences have been held jointly with the Wöhler Association for Inorganic Chemistry GDCh Division. The joint conferences cover the entire spectrum of modern inorganic chemistry: from dynamic main-group element chemistry and innovative coordination chemistry to versatile solid-state and materials chemistry in fundamental research and industrial applications.
JFK – JungeFeste Colloquium is an online seminar series organised by the GDCh Division of Solid-State Chemistry and Materials Research. The series and programme are organised and developed by the early-career group JungeFeste. The lecture series began in 2021 during the coronavirus pandemic to promote scientific exchange. Due to its popularity, the format has continued successfully after the end of the pandemic. Participation is free of charge, but separate registration is required for each seminar. Following each online seminar, there is an opportunity for personal exchange with the speakers.
Organisation: Dr. Sebastian Klemenz, Dr. Alexander Knebel, Ass.-Prof. Dr. Heidi Schwartz, Dr. Simon Steinberg
The Division of Solid-State Chemistry & Materials Research organises workshops on current topics and issues at irregular intervals.
