Scholarship programme

Scholarship programme of the GDCh Division of Macromolecular Chemistry

The Division of Macromolecular Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports the participation of early-career researchers in national and international Conferences, seminars or workshops by awarding travel grants. General conditions:

  • Target group: Students and doctoral researchers
  • Requirement: active participation in the event, i.e. presentation of a talk or poster
  • Funding amounts: individual decision (approx. EUR 250 for events in Europe)
  • Funding for a maximum of two people per university working group and per year ("first come, first served").
  • All events must have a clear connection with macromolecular chemistry and the applicant's own research work.
  • Approval depends on the Division's financial position. There is no entitlement to funding.

1. Conference grants for selected events

Participation in selected events (e.g. the MAKRO Division conference) is particularly supported by the Division of Macromolecular Chemistry through the awarding of individually advertised grants.

There are currently no scholarships available for selected Conferences.
