The Division of History of Chemistry organises various events to promote the exchange of ideas on developments in chemical science and historical perspectives. The lecture conferences offer experts and interested parties the opportunity to present and discuss current research findings and historical analyses. In addition, regional and national symposia are held that focus on specific topics in the history of chemistry and enable a deeper examination of the field. Furthermore, the Division organised conferences for the industrial circle, which promoted dialogue between academic and industrial chemistry and provided insights into their development and history. All events contribute and have contributed to deepening understanding of the chemical discipline and its historical dimensions.
