Working Group Environmental Monitoring

Scientists from various disciplines are involved in the Environmental Monitoring Working Group of the GDCh Division of Environmental Chemistry and Ecotoxicology in order to exchange experiences and develop contributions to the continuous improvement of the quality of environmental observation.

Key topics are discussed at two to three working group meetings each year. A particular concern is to make the monitoring data collected usable. As part of the “Environment” Annual Conference, jointly organised by the Division and SETAC-GLB, the working group organises scientific sessions on current environmental monitoring topics.
