Scholarship programme of the GDCh Division of Detergent Chemistry

The Division of Detergent Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports the participation of early-career researchers in selected conferences (e.g. European Detergents Conference (EDC)) by awarding travel grants.

Conditions:

• Target group: Students during their Bachelor's and Master's theses, doctoral researchers, postdocs
• Requirement: active participation in the event, i.e. a lecture or poster presentation
• All grant recipients are asked to mention the support provided by the GDCh Division of Detergent Chemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

The Division of Detergent Chemistry is offering a limited number of travel grants of up to 500 euros each for active participation in EDC 2026 . The EDC is the annual Conference of the Division and takes place every year under the umbrella of the SEPAWA CONGRESS in Berlin. Applications can be submitted up to 3 weeks before the start of the event by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) using the subject line "EDC 2026 Conference Grant". The complete application documents include the following documents:

• Completed application form,
• Abstract and confirmation of acceptance of the Conference contribution,
• Proof of registration for the Conference.
