In accordance with the rules of procedure of the specialist group, the board consists of a maximum of eleven members (1x chair, 2x deputy chair, max. 8x co-chair), who are each elected for a period of four years. The universities, the authorities, the raw materials producing industry and the detergent chemical industry should be involved in the composition of the board and alternate in chairing the board. Re-election is possible once. This means that ten people are up for election for a maximum of eleven new board positions to be filled. The functions of chair and deputy chair will be determined by the elected board after the election.

All specialist group members who have provided an email address will receive a link to the online vote on Monday, 3 November 2025. All other members will receive the election documents by post.

The election results will be announced on the division's website and in the Chemistry News.

Board election for the term of office 2026-2029

On 31 December 2025, the term of office of the Section ends. The term of office of the Executive Committee of the GDCh Division of Detergent Chemistry ends on 31 December 2025 and you as members of the Division are invited by this letter to nominate candidates for election to the Executive Committee who

  • have declared their willingness to stand for election,
