The Subject Group Biochemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) promotes the participation of young scientists at national and international conferences, seminars or workshops by awarding various travel grants. General framework conditions:

• Target group (unless otherwise stated): Promoters, Postdocs
• Prerequisite: active participation in the event, i.e. presentation of a lecture or postdoc.i.e. presentation of a lecture or poster
• Funding for participation in a maximum of one national or one international conference per person and year. There is no entitlement to funding.
• All events must be clearly related to biochemistry and to the respective own research work .
• All scholarship holders are requested to mention the funding by the GDCh Biochemistry Division in their lecture or on their poster.

Active participation in selected national events (e.g., Fachgruppentagung Biochemie, Fachgruppentagung Biochemie, Fachgruppentagung Biochemie, Fachgruppentagung Biochemie, Fachgruppentagung Biochemie) will be recognised.e.g. the Biochemistry specialist group conference) is particularly encouraged by the Biochemistry specialist group by awarding individually advertised scholarships.

Currently there are no scholarships for national conferences.
