Working Group Electrochemical Analytical Methods (ELACh)

The Working Group Electrochemical Analytical Methods (ELACh) of the GDCh Division of Analytical Chemistry was founded on 22 May 1992 in Friedrichroda. It is concerned in the broadest sense with the development and application of electrochemical analytical methods and is committed to the following objectives and activities:

  • Maintaining and intensifying the exchange of experience, as well as deepening and disseminating knowledge in the field of electrochemical analytical methods
  • Maintaining and deepening international contacts, particularly in Europe
  • Supporting early-career researchers
  • Organising interdisciplinary meetings
  • Participation in organising the “Electrochemistry” conference series
  • Close contact with the GDCh Division of Electrochemistry and coordination of the respective activities
