Wöhler Association for Inorganic Chemistry
Inorganic chemistry is a fundamental discipline of chemistry, and its boundaries are becoming increasingly difficult to define as modern research grows more interdisciplinary. Alongside fundamental teaching and research, which decisively shape our understanding of chemistry itself, it plays a central role in the rapid development of the natural sciences and encompasses a wide range of highly topical and forward-looking research fields – from exciting molecular chemistry and the design of novel catalysts and materials for energy research to supramolecular and bioinorganic chemistry at the interface with the life sciences.
