Scholarship programme of the GDCh Division of Sustainable Chemistry

The Division of Sustainable Chemistry of the German Chemical Society (GDCh) supports the participation of early-career scientists in selected Conferences, seminars or workshops by awarding travel grants.

Conditions:

  • Target group: Students during their Bachelor's and Master's theses, doctoral researchers
  • Requirement: active participation in the event, i.e. lecture or poster presentation
  • All grant recipients are asked to mention the support provided by the GDCh Division of Sustainable Chemistry in their lecture or on their poster.

GDCh SusChem 2026 (1–2 October 2026; Dortmund)

The Division is offering a limited number of travel grants of up to 300 euros each for active participation (poster/lecture) at the GDCh SusChem 2026 Division conference . Grants can be applied for up to three weeks before the start of the Conference by email to Maike Fries (GDCh Office) using the subject line "GDCh SusChem 2026 conference grant". The complete application must include the following documents:

  • Completed application form,
  • Confirmation of acceptance of the conference contribution (poster/lecture),
  • Proof of registration for the Conference.
