In our letter of 31 August 2026, we informed you of the candidates proposed by the current Board of the GDCh Division of Sustainable Chemistry for the upcoming Board election. Prof. Dr. Thomas Müller was nominated by members. Accordingly, the Board election will be held with the following candidates, all of whom have agreed to stand.

According to the Division's bylaws, the Board consists of a maximum of seven members (1x Chair, 1x Deputy Chair, max. 5x ordinary members), who are elected for a term of four years. One re-election is possible.
All members with an email address on file will receive a personalised voting link on Monday, 12 October 2026. All other members will receive their voting documents by post.
The ballot envelopes will be opened and counted at the GDCh Office, Varrentrappstr. 40-42, 60486 Frankfurt am Main. The election results will be announced in Nachrichten aus der Chemie and on the Division's website.

In accordance with the bylaws of the Division, the Board consists of a maximum of seven members (1x Chair, 1x Deputy Chair, max. 5x ordinary members), who are elected for a term of four years. Re-election once is possible. Thus, seven people are standing for election to seven Board positions to be filled, and their brief CVs are enclosed for your information. The positions of Chair and Deputy Chair will be determined from among the elected Board members after the election.
