Rights of data subjects

In order to comply with the transparency and procedures governed by Art. 12 of the EU GDPR, the controller provides information below on the rights of data subjects.

a) Right of access (Art. 15)

The data subject has the right to obtain from the controller confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning them are being processed. The controller shall provide a copy of the personal data undergoing processing. For any further copies requested by the data subject, the controller may charge a reasonable fee based on administrative costs.

b) Rectification (Art. 16)

The data subject has the right to request the rectification or completion of personal data concerning them.

c) Erasure (Art. 17) – “right to be forgotten”

See point 7: Periods for deletion of the data

d) Right to object (Art. 21)

If the data subject objects to the processing of personal data concerning them, the controller may no longer process this data unless they can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

e) Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

Data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority.

f) Consequences of failure to provide personal data

Failure to provide personal data or objection to the processing of the data subject’s personal data will result in leaving the group.
