ADUC

Who we are – What we do

The Working Group of German University Professors and Professors of Chemistry (ADUC) promotes science and research in the field of chemistry, as well as early-career researchers. The tasks and activities of ADUC include issuing statements on the development of chemistry in research and teaching at universities, planning and organising the Chemiedozententagung, awarding the ADUC Prize, and coordinating degree programmes with the Conference of Chemistry Departments.

ADUC was founded in 1897 as an association of heads of laboratories at German universities and was able to celebrate its centenary in 1997. Since 1999, ADUC has been a GDCh structure.
