Together with Springer, the GDCh has published the journal Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry (ABC) since 2002, jointly with the French, Spanish, Italian, Swiss, Austrian and Polish chemical societies. It emerged from the merger of Fresenius' Journal of Analytical Chemistry, Analusis, Química Analítica and Chemical Analysis/Chemia Analityczna. In the first ten years of its existence, the journal has developed into one of the world's leading publications in the field of analytical and bioanalytical chemistry.
