Ernst Awards

Richard R. Ernst

In recognition of Professor Richard R. Ernst (1991 Nobel Laureate in Chemistry; personal autobiographyinterview) and his essential contributions to applications of magnetic resonance in solution, solid state and imaging thereof, the GDCh Division of Magnetic Resonance Spectroscopy established the Ernst Awards. They are awarded annually, are worth 500 Euros each, and honor the work of up to three young scientists.
