Aim of the conference

The conference aims at providing an inspiring forum for scientists from university, research facilities and industry to present results, to discuss and to focus on the forthcoming challenges.

Interdisciplinary presentations in all fields of construction materials science will show the many different perspectives of the topic.

Please adhere to the guidelines for abstracts. An abstract template for submission of contributions will be provided for authors. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to accept or reject papers, and to assign them to oral or poster sessions.

Foot Notes Do not use Winword foot-notes, please write foot-notes
in normal text at the end of your abstract
Title of the document You can use the following signs: A-Z, a-z, 0-9, point (.), underline (_), minus (-). Blanks are not allowed. The length of the document title should not longer than 20 signs, the max. of the file size is 25MB.

After a successful transmission you will receive a reference code for each submitted abstract. The scientific committee reserves the right to accept or reject abstracts.

Deadline for oral presentations:  January 20, 2016 (closed)
Deadline for poster presentations:  January 20, 2016 (closed)
Notification of abstract acceptance: April 2016
Final paper submission: July 15, 2016
Deadline for last-minute poster:  September 15, 2015
Contributions (poster and oral presentations, except last-minute-posters) will be published as conference proceedings.


Information for Authors (monographs)


For your presentation we provide a PC and a data beamer.


The poster sessions will take place in the foyer in front of the lecture hall and along the main corridor. The best posters will be awarded.

General terms and conditions

If fees are paid in advance, but after September 25, 2016, we kindly ask participants to show proof of payment when claiming their tickets and congress papers at the registration desk. Credit cards (Amex, Mastercard, Visa) will be accepted.

Requests for cancellation made prior to August 29, 2016 will be subject to a € 25,- administration fee. After that date the full amount of the invoice has to be paid. Requests for refund will not be accepted; however, registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation. In this case please send a note to GDCh, congress team.

All tickets and congress papers (incl. conference proceedings) will be handed to the participants upon check-in at the registration desk. Participants are requested to wear their congress badges at all times for identification and admittance to the conference rooms.

If the meeting is cancelled for whatever reason, fees paid will be refunded. Further recourse is excluded.
