Aim of the conference

The international symposium will focus on current developments, novel approaches and cutting-edge technologies in the field of medicinal chemistry and drug research with sessions on Target Identification & Lead Discovery, Allosteric Modulators & Modulation of Protein-Protein Interactions, Antibacterial Drugs, Structural Biology, and Highlights in Medicinal Chemistry and Technology. The scientific program will include plenary lectures, short lectures, and poster presentations. Furthermore, oral communications of (post)doctoral junior scientists will be considered. It is the goal of the organizers to make this meeting an event of scientific excellence, attractive to both industrial and academic scientists in Medicinal Chemistry and related fields of research.

Tuesday, March 15th 2016, 15:20 p.m. and Wednesday, March 16th 2016, 10:00 a.m.

The program will contain a poster session. The best posters will be awarded and presented as a short presentation (5 min.).

All tickets and congress papers (incl. book of abstracts) will be handed to the participants upon check-in at the registration desk. Participants are requested to wear their congress badges at all times for identification and admittance to the conference rooms.

Upon online registration, payment by credit card, direct debit or bank transfer (free of bank commission) is possible. You will receive the invoice by separate e-mail.

If fees are paid in advance, but after March 1, 20156 we kindly ask participants to show proof of payment when claiming their tickets and congress papers at the registration desk.
Onsite payment only by electronic cash or credit card (Amex, Mastercard, Visa).


Written cancellations received on or before February 1, 2016, will be refunded less a 25,- administration fee. After that date the full amount of the invoice has to be paid. Requests for refund will not be accepted; however, registration may be transferred to another member of your organisation.  In this case, please send a note to GDCh, Congress Team.

If the conference is cancelled for whatever reason, fees paid will be refunded. Further recourse is excluded.

Get off at station “Olof-Palme-Allee”. If you look into the direction the metro leaves you can see the Maritim Hotel on the left (Travel duration: ca. 9 min, one-way ticket Preisstufe 1b: € 2.80). The last metro back from “Olof-Palme-Allee” to Bonn city center leaves
at 2.21 h.
