GDCh Special Fund
Following a decision by the GDCh Executive Board, since 2007 chairs of local sections and JCF representatives have been able to apply for funding from the GDCh special fund for specific projects and events. In addition, since 2010, active local sections with a colloquium programme exceeding the usual scope have been able, under certain conditions, to receive lump-sum grants from the GDCh special fund.
Heads of local sections and JCF spokespersons can apply for funding from the GDCh special fund for specific projects and events.

The grant for a local section or JCF event from the GDCh special fund can be applied for by local section chairs or JCF spokespersons. The form can be requested by e-mail.
The completed application should be received by the office at least three weeks before the event begins. Applications may be approved in full, approved in part or rejected.
Active local sections whose colloquium programme comprises more than three lectures or events per half-year have been able to apply for a flat rate of 300 euros from the GDCh special fund for each additional lecture since 2010. These additional events should cover topics of general interest, which excludes in particular inaugural lectures, named lectures, institute colloquia and other typical departmental events.
The corresponding entries for all local section events held in the GDCh.app are sufficient as proof.
