1) Job advertisement on our Internet pages

A job advertisement can be set up fastest (within 24 hours) on the Internet pages of the GDCh (http://www.gdch.de/ks/stellen/industrie__e.htm). Our placement lists are the most frequently viewed pages of our web offer after our homepage.

Consequently, we offer you a direct advertisement of your vacant positions for your particular target group. Chemists and other scientists - whether they be novices or experienced professionals - will find suitable job offers here. Time-consuming search processes, e.g. to sort out doctorate postions or positions for other occupational groups, are eliminated.

Prizes from 01 01 2009:
For a minimum 4-week publication of an advertisement in our standard layout (up to 2500 characters), we charge a flat rate of EUR 355 + 19 % VAT when your advertisement text reaches us as a Word document or rtf-file by e-mail. This price also includes, if desired, placement of your logo at the beginning of the advertisement (.gif or .jpg; file size not greater than 40 KB) and a link to your homepage. For an 8-week publication, we charge EUR 590 + 19 % VAT.

You receive greater publicity with a premium advertisement which you create as a pdf-document in your individual layout. We calculate EUR 514 + 19 % VAT for a 4-week publication and EUR 856 + 19 % VAT for a 8-week publication.

(2) job advertisement in our magazine „Nachrichten aus der Chemie”

Your advertisement will receive even greater attention if it is published in the „Nachrichten aus der Chemie”, the base medium for all of chemistry. Almost all highly qualified experts and managers in chemistry inform themselves each month by reading the „Nachrichten”. The wide spectrum of reporting on topics involving science and politics as well as people, companies, meetings and continuing education dates makes the „Nachrichten” a „must” for chemists from all areas of business and science. Information regarding professions and career opportunities, found in the rubric „Profession and Career”, and the comprehensive job market offer mainly graduate and doctorate students yet another important reason to regularly pick up the „Nachrichten aus der Chemie”.

The fees for advertising employment vacancies depend on the size of the advertisement. Upon choosing a column width (45 mm, 90 mm, 135 mm or 180 mm), you can also select the height of the advertisement exactly to the millimeter. We charge a price of EUR 5.92 per column and millimeter (universities: EUR 5,09).

We figure lower prices for particular formats (1/4-page, 1/2-page, 1/1-page; also see Media data on p. 3, Item 11 „Prices for job advertisements”).
Please send us the advertisement as a printable copy in pdf-format (see Media data on p. 11). If you send us a Word document, our graphic designer will prepare the advertisement for you at cost-price. In this case, this would cost an additional EUR 50.- -100.- depending on the effort involved.

You can inexpensively combine the advertisement in the “Nachrichten” job market with our Internet job market.
